About Me

My early professional achievements were in education. But for more than 15 years now, I have had a blended model of work practice with each aspect enhancing the others. I have led, or been involved in, many IT implementations within organisations such as Telstra and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Operating in these environments has given me a diversity and breadth of experience with individuals and teams; what makes them tick in the workplace and what factors promote or hinder their full contribution to organisational goals.

Since completing an undergraduate degree in Physics, I have continued my studies over the intervening years with a masters degree in education and graduate diploma in organisational change and consulting. I am presently following up the current focus of my work with doctoral studies.

On my own spiral path my partner, Judy, and our four adult daughters are all important agents in my life, providing a constant source of care, challenge and inspiration. The activities that (re)vitalise me and my professional practice are writing, creating music, woodwork, documenting the world around me through photography and contemplation by the ocean.
